Happy Wednesday & welcome back to the AI Edge weekly newsletter

This week, we’re trying something new!

We built an exclusive prompt pack for you - ready to use right now.

These aren’t just AI-slop prompts; they are real workflows and prompting techniques that literally feel illegal to use and deliver valuable results.

We have 8 prompts in total, spanning across various popular AI tools & LLMs.

Just copy the attached code block and paste the prompt into the specified AI tool.

After we count down to the #1 prompt, we’ll dive into the Midweek Edge - our curated section of the top AI updates from the past week, and our Looking Ahead section, where we cover our research on emerging AI trends.

Enjoy!

#8: Tracking Insiders & Politician Trading

Perplexity

Perplexity has a Finance mode that lets you track every stock trade made by politicians and corporate insiders in real time.

These trades are legally required to be disclosed, but most people have no idea this data is publicly accessible, let alone that AI can surface it instantly.

Here's how to use it:

  1. Open Perplexity and switch to Finance mode

  2. Search the name of any politician or corporate insider

  3. Then paste this prompt:

I want a full breakdown of every stock trade made by ALL insiders in the last [timeframe] days/weeks/months. List every position they opened, every position they closed, the exact dates, the size of each trade, and the current value. Then identify which sectors and companies they are consistently betting on, any patterns in their timing, and what their portfolio activity might be signalling about where they believe the market is heading. Cross-reference any trades with upcoming legislation, earnings announcements, or major news events that occurred around the same time.

Complete game-changer and will change how you research the stock market forever.

#7: 20-75% Discount on Anything

ChatGPT-5.5

Before you buy anything online, run this prompt in a dedicated “Discount Code” ChatGPT project.

GPT-5.5's live web access means it can scour the internet for every active discount code, cashback offer, and promotion available for any product or retailer in real time.

Here's the prompt to get 20%+ discounts on anything:

I'm about to purchase [product/service link] from [website link]. Before I do, I want you to search the entire web for every active discount code, promo code, cashback offer, student discount, referral bonus, seasonal sale, or any other money-saving opportunity currently available for this purchase. Check coupon sites, Reddit threads, Twitter posts, Facebook groups, and any other public source. List every code you find, the discount it offers, the expiry date if known, and rank them from highest to lowest saving. Then tell me the single best combination of offers I should use to pay the least possible amount today.

#6: Media Extraction

NotebookLM

This one is especially powerful for students and researchers.

Using NotebookLM, you can turn valuable podcasts into reusable learning assets.

The workflow: upload any podcast, YouTube video, or transcript into NotebookLM, and it instantly becomes a source you can repurpose.

It builds mind maps, generates study guides, creates new audio overviews, and lets you ask questions directly against the content.

Here's how to use it:

  1. Grab the transcript or audio from any podcast episode

  2. Start a new Notebook project

  3. Upload the transcript NotebookLM as a source

  4. Then paste this prompt:

I've uploaded a [podcast/video/transcript]. I want you to do the following: First, create a full mind map of every key concept, idea, and insight covered. Second, summarize the 10 most actionable takeaways in bullet points. Third, generate a quiz based on the 10 key concepts. Fourth, identify any books, people, tools, or resources mentioned and compile them into a reference list. And finally, create a new audio media file that distills the most important insights into a 5 minute briefing I can refer back to anytime.

#5: Negotiate a Raise You Can't Be Denied

ManusAI

More people should be using AI agents for this!

You can upload your CV, experience, skills, LinkedIn data, and more, and let AI agents do a full deep-dive analysis on your salary against the market, identify your most valuable skills, find competing job offers, and build you a full negotiation brief.

We’ve found that Manus is best for this task, but you can also use Gemini, ChatGPT Agent mode, or another plug-and-play agent like Runable.

You’ll need to take a few minutes to gather:

  • CV

  • Resume

  • Social media data

  • Complete skills list

  • Any other relevant career data

Here is my [CV/job data/socials/resume]. I want you to do the following: First, analyze my skills, experience, and current role and benchmark my market salary against current data from LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and any other relevant sources. Second, identify the top 10 companies currently hiring for my skill set and what they are paying. Third, find the strongest leverage points in my experience that justify a salary raise. Fourth, build me a full salary negotiation brief including the exact number I should ask for, the range I should accept, and three data-backed arguments I can use to justify my ask. Finally, draft the exact script I should use when I walk into the conversation with my manager."

#4: Your Personal Photoshop

ChatGPT-5.5

If you read last week’s newsletter, you’ll know just how powerful the new ChatGPT Images 2 is.

What used to take years to master on Adobe Photoshop is now just a prompt away.

The latest version of ChatGPT can generate hyperrealistic images, edit existing photos, remove backgrounds, and create UGC-style content that looks like it was shot by a professional.

You can use prompts like:

- Remove the background from this image
- Make this scene hyperrealistic
- Make this look like it was shot on a professional camera
- Crop and reformat this image for Instagram
- Replace the background with a minimalist white studio
- Restore this photo
- Make this product photo look like an Apple ad

This is one of the most underrated uses of AI image generation.

#3: Reverse-Engineer Any Competitor's Entire Strategy

Grok

Every competitor on X is leaving a trail, and Grok is the only AI tool that follows it.

Grok has full access to everything posted on X (every tweet, thread, reply, and engagement, etc.). That means you can point it at any competitor and have it reverse-engineer their entire content strategy, messaging, positioning, and product direction in minutes.

Here's the prompt to use:

Analyze everything publicly posted by [competitor X handle] on X in the last 90 days. I want you to: First, identify their core content pillars and what topics they post about most. Second, reverse-engineer their messaging strategy — what pain points are they speaking to, what narrative are they pushing, and who are they clearly targeting. Third, find their highest performing posts and identify exactly why they worked. Fourth, identify any product announcements, feature launches, or strategic shifts they've signalled. Fifth, find the gaps in their content — what they're not talking about that their audience clearly cares about. Finally, give me a one-page brief I can use to position against them and win their audience.

If you make content on X (or aspire to), this prompt will be especially useful.

#2: Sourcing Qualified Leads in Seconds

ManusAI

You already know what Manus can do; now it’s time to use it for real work.

Instead of spending hours manually scrolling LinkedIn, copy-pasting company names, and researching prospects one by one, just use this prompt for instant customer research.

Insert your ideal customer profile, and it autonomously browses the web, identifies matching companies, finds the right people, and compiles everything into a ready-to-use lead list - complete with personalized outreach openers for each one.

I want you to find me 50 qualified leads for my business. My ideal customer is [describe your ICP — industry, company size, job title, location]. For each lead I want: the person/company name, the decision maker's name and title, their LinkedIn profile URL, company website, estimated company size, what they need, and why they are a strong fit for what I offer. Then for each lead, write me a personalized one-line cold outreach opener based on something specific about their business. Compile everything into a clean table I can export.

This is especially powerful for business owners or those in sales.

#1: Mission Control

OpenClaw

Every tool on this list is powerful on its own, but OpenClaw connects them all together.

This OpenClaw prompt will connect all your tools to a centralized “Mission Control” dashboard with all your personal data.

Think: Emails unread, task list, calendar, and more (you can customize it however you see fit)

Here's the prompt to get it started:

Connect to my email, calendar, and task manager [+ any other tools]. Every morning at [time], send me a Mission Control briefing to [Telegram/Slack/WhatsApp] that includes: number of unread emails and a summary of anything urgent, today's full calendar with meeting prep notes for each, my full task list prioritised by urgency and deadline, any outstanding follow-ups I haven't responded to, and one focus recommendation for what I should tackle first. Format everything cleanly so I can read it in under 2 minutes. I want this running automatically every day without me having to ask. In addition to this, I want you to Vibe Code a personal OS system that tracks all my important data and tools in one place.

There you have it.
